Smart Little Guy

So last night, Kristi was at a relief society activity, which left me and Remy hanging out.  Well, Remy was just playing with some of his toys on the ground, when I noticed that he had his suspenders over his shoulder, and they were caught a little bit, so he was pulling on them to, as I thought at the time, get them off.  I take them off of him, and he just kind of looks at me, and then tries to put them back.  I realize, Remy is trying to put on his suspenders.  What a smart little guy.  He hasn't even worn them that often.  So I quickly grabbed my phone, and took a video of his efforts:

i don't want to cause any alarm....

But Remy is 11 months old.  Which means that he is almost one.  I'm in shock.

Couple Trips to catch up on part 2

We got home from the Cali trip on Memorial Day.  The next Thursday night, we headed down to Southern Utah with the Olsens.  It was Danny's last weekend before his mission to Samara, Russia, and the decision was made to go camping.  On Friday, we hiked Spooky and Peekaboo slot canyons, near Escalante.  They are fun hikes.  Remy did not like being in his backpack, in fact, he hated it.  Oh well, we wouldn't have been able to keep him in the backpack for the actual slot canyons anyway.  Friday night we slept in Bryce Canyon National Park, and Saturday we hiked all over.  I loved Bryce's.  I think that I might have liked it more than Zion's and Arches, but I can't be sure.  It was another fun trip and a good time camping.

Couple Trips to catch up on part 1

Well, the Buck family has gone on a couple of trips in the past few weeks.  In the end of May, Kristi's sister Kelli had a wedding reception in California (Kelli's new husband Scott is from a city about an hour east of San Francisco).  We decided that we would tag along, and hitch a ride in the Olsen family van, and we all headed to SF.  Remy was a champ.  It was like 11 or 12 hours each way, and Remy was GREAT!!!! He is made to travel I think.  We were able to spend half a day in San Francisco taking in some of the main tourist sights.
