USA Soccer

Hey there everybody, it's been a while since I've blogged. I've been leaving it to Kristi for the last while now. School is back, and it's going good. We got to go to the US vs El Salvador Soccer game this weekend (Kristi's Birthday present), and it was so much fun. My camera is stupid so we lost a couple pics, but we did salvage these.

21

I am 21. I can't believe it finally came. I have been waiting for this year for my entire life. For my birthday I got lots of great loot. Cade gave me a snuggie and tickets to the US v. El Salvador soccer game. I am so excited. Also I had a mocktale party with kristinis. It was a great couple of days. the saturday before my birthday we went rafting and it was so awesome. Cade spent many hours working on our car (the transmission went out) and incredibly he fixed it!! we bought a car in case he couldn't get it working again so we have 2 cars. School also started. we're both really busy.

oh lovely, lovely summer

Oh man, this summer has been the BOMB.Com Cade and I have spent pretty much every single day (since we came back to utah) hanging out. we went camping about 4 times and then to finish off our stressful summer we went to Vegas. I had never been and I loved it. I finished my Physiology class and I got my grade.. a passing grade might I say. I am the proud owner of a B- in Human Phys. yippee. on the more unfortunate note our car is broken and we somehow waited the entire summer to buy one so now we are going back to provo on monday but still have no car. oops. we were too busy having tons of fun. I hope to put some pics on soon. (i'm just so un-busy i'm busy)

so much to blog, so little time

cyber space, what a great place to be! I am going to write a lot, so sorry for reading, but it is pretty awesome. our adventure home: We picked up Cade's mom from the airport on saturday at about 3 ish so she could help us drive home and see everything with us. we drove for 6 hours and slept in a tent at the Wayne county fairgrounds in palmyra NY. On sunday we woke up early and went to the Sacred Grove before our 9:00 sacrament meeting. It was so amazing to be there early in the morning with the bees humming and the sweet birds singing. After sacrament meeting we drove around the temple and walked around hill Cumorah. AFter a brief walk around of the hill we drove for about 2 hours to get to Canada and Niagara Falls. We rode the boat right up into it and it was cool. It was rainy but we couldn'e tell because we were getting soaked just from the falls. None of us had been there before and it was so cool. After we had had our share of water fall we drove to Kirtland OH. It was about 7 so most of the places were done giving tours so we went and set up camp at Punderson State Park. In the morning we walked around and got tours of stuff and went through the Kirtland temple. at about 12 we started our drive to Crystal Lake (right around Chicago) to stay the night at my Aunt and Uncle's house. they had a great BBQ for us. ( the traffic around chicago was awful) It was so nice of them to let us stay (and feed us great food). We awoke early and left (after a great breakfast) to nauvoo. In Nauvoo we went on a carriage ride and toured some buildings got a free cookie, saw joseph smith's grave. all in all a pretty good visit. If we had more time we could have stayed longer. We drove to Carthage Jail when we peeled ourselves away from Nauvoo. It was so cool. In our tour we were with a family with a bunch of wild little kids, but it was still good. one of them jumped on the antique bed they have in the jail. when we were done it was about 6 and we drove into South Dakota just after sioux falls (2:00am) and slept in the car (sorry Cade's mom) The next day we woke up early and drove to Mt. Rushmore (about 4 hours) and looked around, drove past Crazy horse and had a great buffet at Pizza Hut. We drove 5 hours to Martins Cove ( we got there at about 5 and left at 7) and saw Cades Great aunt Beverly and uncle someone. When we were done we decided that at 7, 5 more hours would be nothing so we drove and drove and got to centerville at 1am.

I never wrote anything down so I went into great detail so I could have everything (like a journal, in cyber space) We had such a great time and it was so fun. pictures l8r.

our last weekend

Good times at the Zoo

The Baseball game (it was beach day so we got free beach towels, and leis)

A day at the beach

I can't believe that these two months are almost over! We start our treck home on saturday and we couldnt be more excited! It was super fun here in Virginia but I'm ready to go home. Cade's mom will fly in at 2:00 on saturday and we'll pick her up and head to Palmyra for the first stop of the vaca.

Last weekend we had to fit everything in that we hadn't done yet. On friday we went to a baseball game (Washington Nationals vs. someone from canada) It was my first baseball game ever and it was awesome! On saturday Cade's cousin and her family came to DC and we went to the zoo. It was pretty cool. for being in the middle of the city it was pretty big, I thought. It was fun to be at the zoo, but especially when there were little kids there. Little Teegan was so adorable. ah the wonders of childhood. (Thanks Brittany and Josh, we had a Killer Time) On sunday we took a drive to the coast to see the ocean. We brought a lunch and ate it on the beach. I played in the sand for a minute then we headed back. It was a 3.5 hour drive each way, but it was still really fun and we're glad we did it. Wow what a weekend.

Now that brings us to now. I'm trying to work on my class but it is so awful (it shouldn't be, but it is killing me). Cade's days at "work" are winding down. yippee. I'm trying to keep thinking of things to write so I don't have to start on homework... but unfortunately I'm all out.
