Remy :)
Remy folds his arms for prayers. It is sooooo cute. We had an awesome week that deserves a whole big giant post that I don't feel like writing. So for now, a prayer pic

news flash
babies grow up. It never occurred to me. I love it though. Remy is learning new things every single day and becoming more mischievous by the second. His current loves are climbing on the dishwasher and pushing buttons on anything he can get his hands on (ie piano). also getting anything out of any cupboard. He turned one and it was a bleak affair. lets just say there were lots of tears, at his first party anyway. we had another party camping the day after his birthday and he was in much better spirits. it was either because he was in the out of doors or because it was 6pm instead of 830pm. not sure which. Remy still doesn't walk without his trusty walker but he is very advanced on that thing. he lifts it up to turn around and maneuvers around things like its nothing. I don't think he even wants to walk unassisted. he is a blabber. he blabs all the time about,,,,.... stuff. his current vocabulary is uh-oh, ball, and walker ( I call it is wakka, and he calls it his akka) he signs the words please and more and occasionally waves hello and goodbye. I have to admit i've never seen a cuter babe. he's lucky to have his good looks because is is a crier. not all the time just when i'm not holding him or giving him exactly what he wants or letting him go outside. I'm still learning when i need to tell him no and when it doesn't matter. so far this summer has cruised by. I don't love how hot our house is but I do love how hot it is outside. I'm not really looking forward to winter and early dark. get ready for summer picture over load!!

Smart Little Guy
So last night, Kristi was at a relief society activity, which left me and Remy hanging out. Well, Remy was just playing with some of his toys on the ground, when I noticed that he had his suspenders over his shoulder, and they were caught a little bit, so he was pulling on them to, as I thought at the time, get them off. I take them off of him, and he just kind of looks at me, and then tries to put them back. I realize, Remy is trying to put on his suspenders. What a smart little guy. He hasn't even worn them that often. So I quickly grabbed my phone, and took a video of his efforts:

Couple Trips to catch up on part 2
We got home from the Cali trip on Memorial Day. The next Thursday night, we headed down to Southern Utah with the Olsens. It was Danny's last weekend before his mission to Samara, Russia, and the decision was made to go camping. On Friday, we hiked Spooky and Peekaboo slot canyons, near Escalante. They are fun hikes. Remy did not like being in his backpack, in fact, he hated it. Oh well, we wouldn't have been able to keep him in the backpack for the actual slot canyons anyway. Friday night we slept in Bryce Canyon National Park, and Saturday we hiked all over. I loved Bryce's. I think that I might have liked it more than Zion's and Arches, but I can't be sure. It was another fun trip and a good time camping.

Couple Trips to catch up on part 1
Well, the Buck family has gone on a couple of trips in the past few weeks. In the end of May, Kristi's sister Kelli had a wedding reception in California (Kelli's new husband Scott is from a city about an hour east of San Francisco). We decided that we would tag along, and hitch a ride in the Olsen family van, and we all headed to SF. Remy was a champ. It was like 11 or 12 hours each way, and Remy was GREAT!!!! He is made to travel I think. We were able to spend half a day in San Francisco taking in some of the main tourist sights.
