my boy turns 2 and other life events

Remy turned 2 on the 11th and he loved it.  We had Grandma Buck over for dinner and cake.  Remy was in heaven with her there.  Vienna went on her first camping trip.  When Remy was a brand new baby we slept in our tent, this time I opted for the trailer.  we went to Trial Lake and had a blast.  The weather was fab and the scenery was beautiful.  Remy had a great time with his cousins and is getting pretty good at fighting these days.  Sorry cousins. Vienna was pretty good.  I don't think she loves the out of doors like Remy did, but she was still pretty good.  I tried to get a good family picture but as it turns out no makeup and being up all night didn't do me any good.  but I got a few that I can put on here that I think people  will be able to stomach.  :)

Remy:

Loves singing, he knows the words to I love to see the temple, I am a child of god, twinkle twinkle, 3 little ducks and lots more

says why about everything even though he doesn't know what it means

loves tractors and trucks
loves his daddy; cries every time I do something for him, he wants daddy to do it
terrible twos.  tantrums over anything and everything.
killer fake cry.
knows all his colors
sleeps with kermit, turtle and blankie
tells me when he's going #2 but when I ask if he'll go in the potty he says no in the diaper.  sometimes he will run to the bathroom and gets on the toilet before "it" is out, but not often.
when he is talking about "another" or "the other" he says "the mother"
Baby vienna is "babyenna"
talks in third person.  example he just said "remy going outside"  other things: Remy's hungry, Remy turn it on, Remy do it.
All in all he is a sweet boy.  He loves Vienna and asks where she is all the time especially when he wakes up and hasn't seen her.  Even though he is crazy we just love this little jabber -buddy.
Vienna:
pretty good baby.
sleeps a lot during the day and pretty well at night.  I usually get 4 hour stretches.
she is very gassy.  always needs to poop or gas.
likes to be held.
she is so sweet and so darling

WELCOME!!!!!!

I would like everyone to give a nice warm welcome to Vienna Grace.  She is just a dear.  A little chunkier than I expected but still so sweet.  The delivery went as well as can be expected and recovery has been a charm.  I am loving it.  I even left the hospital a day early. It was a little hard to adjust to coming home and trying to put Remy (the boy who won't sleep anymore) to bed and get V to stop crying.  But with a little help All was well.
The Story:
On Friday I went to 7 peaks in the morning (last hurrah) Then I had an appointment at 4.  I was dilated to a 4 so the Dr Stripped my membranes.  I was feeling weird/crampy all night.  I didn't sleep super well but enough.  I was trying to time contractions but kept falling asleep.  On Saturday morning I was contracting pretty consistently. I didn't tell Cade because i suspected he would start to flip.  Cade made us some waffles for breakfast and we just chilled.  After breakfast I told Cade we should have my parents come get Remy.  I  took a bath in the comfort of my own home :)  and then got ready to head.  I was right when  I  thought Cade would start flipping.  He was more in a hurry than I was.  I was a little nervous they would tell me to go home when I got to the hospital.   In the car the pain was pretty bad I kept thinking that if I had to do this for  5 more hours I would not be able to.  We got to the hospital at about 11 and I was dilated to an 8.  After all the questions/ check in I was at a 9.  It seemed like forever to get the rest of the way but it finally happened. Pushing was the worst it also seemed to take forever.  but at 1:43 out came our little Vienna.  8 lbs 4 oz.  she had the fattest little face I ever saw. (not really, but I wasn't expecting it).  So far she is pretty sweet. Remy is in love with her.  He only fake cried a few times when she has been crying.  ha. so funny
